City in the Community is looking for a Communications Coordinator to support the delivery of engaging communications across its community programmes, campaigns and activities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Communications Coordinator will help promote the organisation’s work and demonstrate the impact of its programmes across Manchester.

The role will involve producing content, coordinating communications activities and working with internal teams and external stakeholders to share stories from across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the delivery of communications plans and campaigns
• Creating engaging written, visual and digital content
• Promoting community programmes, activities and events
• Coordinating content across relevant communication channels
• Gathering stories, photographs and information from programme teams
• Supporting media, stakeholder and partner communications
• Monitoring content performance and audience engagement
• Maintaining consistent brand messaging across communications

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience producing digital or social media content
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence working with different teams and stakeholders
• Ability to manage several priorities and deadlines
• An interest in football, community engagement or social impact
