ABOUT THE ROLE

London & Partners is looking for an experienced Head of Corporate Events to lead the next stage of its events function and establish a centre of excellence for event delivery across the organisation.

This senior leadership position combines strategic direction with hands-on operational oversight. The successful candidate will lead the Corporate Events team and ensure that mid- to large-scale physical, virtual and hybrid events are delivered professionally, creatively and efficiently.

Working closely with Marketing, Communications, Creative, Operations and programme delivery teams, the Head of Corporate Events will translate organisational objectives and audience needs into seamless and memorable event experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and lead a centralised Corporate Events function
• Develop consistent processes, governance and best-practice standards
• Provide strategic direction for the planning, production and evaluation of events
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of physical, virtual and hybrid events
• Lead event production, venue sourcing and supplier management
• Manage procurement, contracts, budgets and financial reporting
• Strengthen event risk management and operational control
• Embed accessibility, sustainability, inclusion and net-zero standards
• Introduce tools, templates and frameworks that improve event delivery
• Develop preferred supplier and venue partnerships
• Lead post-event reviews and performance measurement
• Recruit, lead, coach and develop a high-performing Corporate Events team

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have proven experience leading a large-scale events or event production function.

They should bring:

• Extensive experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder events
• Strong knowledge of event logistics, production and venue management
• Experience managing suppliers, contracts, procurement and event budgets
• Knowledge of technical production, accessibility, sustainability and compliance
• Experience developing event operating models, processes and governance
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Experience developing and supporting multidisciplinary teams
• The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• A strong balance of creativity, strategic thinking and operational control
