Ticketmaster UK is looking for an experienced Senior Client Development Manager to join its Client Development team in London.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Client Development Manager will play a leading role in growing Ticketmaster’s client base by identifying and converting new business opportunities across the live entertainment industry.
The role covers a broad range of sectors, including venues, sports clubs and stadiums, visitor attractions, exhibitions, cultural institutions and immersive experience organisations.
The successful candidate will develop new opportunities while also helping existing Ticketmaster clients maximise the value of the company’s ticketing products, technology and services.
This is a senior, externally focused position requiring regular client meetings, industry networking, conferences and events across the UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across live entertainment sectors
• Develop and manage a diverse commercial pipeline
• Evaluate potential opportunities, commercial viability and associated risks
• Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate complex agreements
• Manage opportunities from initial pitch through to signed contract
• Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate ticketing solutions
• Present Ticketmaster’s products, technology and services to prospective clients
• Support solutions ranging from general admission ticketing to complex seated configurations
• Build strong relationships with venues, sports organisations, attractions and cultural institutions
• Attend industry events, conferences and client-hosted occasions
• Develop strategic partnerships with affiliates, content producers and media organisations
• Coordinate the transition from signed contract to onboarding and first ticket onsale
• Work with product, marketing, operations, implementation and client service teams
• Ensure internal teams understand client objectives and delivery requirements
• Support new and existing clients in maximising revenue opportunities
• Create tailored sales and marketing materials with the UK B2B Marketing Manager
• Meet new business, renewal and product-adoption targets
• Maintain accurate opportunity and client records in Salesforce
• Report pipeline activity, sector developments and commercial performance to senior management
• Travel as required to meet clients and represent Ticketmaster
WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR
• Significant business development or sales experience within live entertainment or ticketing
• An established network across one or more relevant entertainment sectors
• A proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Experience managing complex commercial negotiations
• Confidence reviewing RFPs and developing commercial deal models
• Strong knowledge of the UK live entertainment landscape
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder-management capabilities
• Confidence presenting to senior executives and boards
• Strong written, verbal and public-speaking skills
• Excellent organisation and pipeline-management abilities
• The ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Confidence using AI tools for research, sales materials and commercial analysis
• Salesforce experience is desirable
• A proactive, commercially focused and self-directed approach
• A genuine passion for live entertainment
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
This is a permanent, full-time role based in London.
The position requires regular client visits, attendance at industry events and conferences, and travel according to business requirements.
SALARY
£80,000–£90,000 per year.
